Day 50! It seems so long ago that we embarked on this adventure on March 8th. We have a rest day today in O'Leno State Park, one of Florida's best. Bubba added a rest day just before the ride into St. Augustine so that we arrive on a Monday. Sunday traffic is a very heavy tourist traffic day.
Last night was pitch black except for the magical fire flies. Quiet too, no loud frogs, trains, or interstate. Bliss.
We elected to take the kayak trip down the Santa Fe river. I wore the Santa Fe Century t-shirt but nobody noticed. Beautiful, green dense forest and black water. Kelly, there were actual live animals! Check out this small alligator.
Bikers, apparently aren't the only ones who draft.
80 mile day tomorrow then 45 into St. Augustine.
